TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All correspondence(s) in respect of Tours / Travel Services and bookings should be addressed to The Taj Holidays.

BOOKING:
Once your booking is confirmed, your contract is with The Taj Holidays. A contract is concluded between us when we confirm your journey/travel service and we have received the deposit.

PAYMENT:
You must pay The Taj Holidays a deposit of at least 25% of the total price for the agreed services. A deposit is required to hold a confirmed booking.

Final payment is due 15 days prior to the start date of the services. All bookings made within 15 working days of the date of services are considered late bookings and full and final payment is due at the time of booking. The final payment must be made 15 days before the start of the reservation. All bookings made within 15 working days of the service date will be considered late bookings and full and final payment will be due at the time of booking.

Note:
In addition to the above, if you book special train journeys, hotels or resorts during peak season (Christmas, New Year, Pushkari Fair, Diwali, etc.), the full amount must be paid at the time of reservation.

Even after you have made a 25% deposit to confirm reservations, in some cases you may have to pay an additional deposit before the final balance payment date, depending on the payment terms of the contractor/supplier.

PAYMENT METHOD:
International customers can pay using one of the following methods:

Online credit card payment (American Express / Visa / Master Card / Discover / Diners Club).

By Bank/Telex Transfer Bank A/c.

Note:
When paying by credit/debit card, a 3% bank fee will be added to the total amount.

All payments must be free and exclusive of withholding tax and deductions.

All bank fees (paying bank or intermediary bank) would definitely be borne by the payer.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Please note that The Taj Holidays’s employes or representative will not ask for your card number, CVV, online banking credentials, password, OTP etc. They also do not require you to transfer money to your personal account or install third-party software such as Any Desk, TeamViewer, etc. Do not act on such a request. 

CANCELLATION/CONTROL/EARLY EXIT POLICY:
Each tour has its own cancellation policy, which is stated on each description page. The cancellation below applies only to those trips without cancellation rules in the description page.

In case of cancellations, the cancellation policy is on our full description page. If any trip does not have a cancellation policy in the information section, payment will be due according to the cancellation policy below:

60 days and before arrival – 10% of the price of the tour/service.

59 days to 30 days before arrival – 20% of the price of the trip/service.

29 days to 15 days before arrival – 25% of the price of the trip/service.

14 days to 08 days before arrival – 50% of the price of the trip/service.

07 days or less before arrival or no show – NO REFUNDS.

REFUNDS:
Refunds for unused services (that are prepaid and cancelled) will be calculated based on the cancellation conditions described above and will be refunded to the person who paid us accordingly. Please note that the refund may take 2-4 weeks due to bank procedures. If the refund is made to a credit card account OR bank account, the amount refunded will be subject to bank charges.

MANDATORY ID DOCUMENTS:
All guests (foreigners, nationals and Indian nationals) must provide a photo ID upon booking confirmation. The documents according to the information below apply to different categories:

For foreigners – a copy of passport + visa is mandatory.

For Non-Resident Indian Customers (NRI Customer) – Copy of Passport.

For Indian overseas customers with OCI/PIO card – Passport copy and OCI/PIO card copy are mandatory.

For domestic customers – copy of driving license / voter card / passport is mandatory.

ADDITIONAL USE OF THE VEHICLE:
Please note that additional vehicle costs (cars/buses with driver) are not included in the services, so additional use of the Vehicle after transfer or visit is not allowed.

OBLIGATIONS AND LIMITATIONS:
Please note that once the cost of the tour/service is decided, the government will increase the entrance fees, taxes, fuel costs or guide fees of the monuments/museums. India would be charged the same premium.

The Taj Holidays prices are based on current prices we have with hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and airlines reserve the right to change prices without notice. In case of such changes – we may change the prices announced before the change according to the changes made by hotels or airlines.

The Taj Holidays and its partners act only as agents for hotels, airlines, transport companies, railways and other service providers, and all exchange orders, receipts, contracts and tickets issued by us are issued in accordance with the terms on which they issue them services. The tickets, vouchers or transport contract used by the driver/hotel or other service contractors are the only contract between the Customers and such contractor.

The Taj Holidays itineraries are sample itineraries intended to give you a general idea of a likely travel schedule. Several factors such as weather, road conditions, physical ability of the participants, etc. may necessitate a change of route either before the tour or during the course. The Taj Holidays reserves the right to change any part of the itinerary, including transportation and accommodation, with noticing the interest of travel, safety, comfort and general well-being of participants, without refund, credit or refund and possible additional costs. must be paid by the customer.

The Taj Holidays is not responsible for delay or change of the program or expenses incurred or special/consequential damages, injuries or damages – direct or indirect – natural disasters, flight cancellations, accidents, breakdowns of machinery or equipment, breakdowns of transport. , weather, disease, landslides, political closures, acts of God, perils of the sea, floods, fires, acts of government or other authorities, wars, civil disturbances, riots, thefts, robberies, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs orders, negligence or other causes beyond our control, or any adverse events or similar causes, including customer obligations or additional costs. In addition, customers are responsible for the obligations or additional costs incurred by them for the aforementioned reasons.

The Taj Holidays is not responsible or liable to customers or their legal representative for any property loss or damage caused by death or injury, including loss of services, that customers may suffer as a result of this action. negligence or breach of duty by the transport company, hotel agents or any other group of persons, their agents or service providers who provide such services or facilities or arising out of or in the course of travel, transport or other services, whether by reason thereof, ownership, of any automobile, bicycle, boat, by the maintenance, operation, use or driving of an engine or other vehicle in common transportation or otherwise and whether negligently or otherwise or howsoever caused. Customers who use sports equipment, bicycles, sailing boats, diving equipment rented or supplied by the hotel or rental shop must do so at their own risk.

The Taj Holidays does not have insurance to cover expenses caused by accident, illness, theft or other causes. Visitors are advised to obtain such insurance in their home country. All luggage and personal belongings are always the responsibility of the customer.

The Taj Holidays reserves the right to cancel any service if it finds that the tour, trip or passage is impossible for any reason or if the circumstances require such action, with a refund of its value and the customer has no other or additional. claims against the company in any way for cause.

The Taj Holidays reserves the right to refuse to perform a contract with any person it deems undesirable in its sole discretion, without giving any reason.

FORCE MAJEURE:
The Taj Holidays and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents or suppliers and their successors, assigns and permitted assigns shall not be responsible or liable for any breach of any obligation under the failure or delay in performance hereunder, in whole or in part, if such performance is rendered impossible by declared or undeclared acts of war, sabotage, embargo, acts of terrorism, riot or other civil disturbance, failure of transportation, act. by any government or its courts or administrative agencies, acts of God, fire, explosion, flood, earthquake, strike, government action or other disaster, pandemic, epidemic, disease epidemic or quarantine restrictions or other causes beyond The Taj Holidays reasonable control Holidays (“force majeure”).

The Taj Holidays and the customer will use their best efforts to avoid, overcome and compensate for the consequences of any cause or potential cause of force majeure. If the cause of force majeure causes, the terms of use given here will again take effect in full.

Force majeure does not, however, release The Taj Holidays and the customer from obligations that have accrued before the occurrence of force majeure.

JURISDICTION CLAUSE:
All disputes arising out of this Agreement or any subsequent agreements shall be submitted only to the courts of Delhi.
